A New Québécois Chapter Founded by Women in Bio

Women in Bio (WIB), an international organization which brings together women working in life sciences, is announcing the creation of the 1st regional chapter of Women in Bio in Canada.

WIB is a non-profit organization of international reputation dedicated to promote good entrepreneurship, professional development and mentor services for women.

The new Greater Montréal section aims to bring together professionals from around the province who have interests in various sectors of biology.

The organization offers many services:

  • Networking;
  • Leadership skills development;
  • Idea and innovation sharing;
  • Discovering new developments and opportunities in different fields.

Invitation for the inaugural event

WIB will celebrate the creation of their new regional chapter on November, 14th, 2012 in Montréal. During the evening, Clarissa Desjardins, entrepreneur and business creator, will be present to talk about her experience, notably as CEO of Clementia Pharmaceuticals.
