Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are amongst the most dynamic sectors in Sherbrooke in terms of economic development. Research and business are proactive, with numerous groups and research chairs and innovative businesses such as NGC Aerospace and SherWeb that enjoy national and global recognition.
Sherbrooke businesses, whether working in information technology, telecommunication, software development, electronic commerce or the video game universe, can rely on a highly qualified and motivated workforce pool. Indeed, the region offers numerous university, college and professional programs, public and private, such as training offered by Université de Sherbrooke, Bishop University, Institut Desgraff and CDE Collège.
