25 jobs will be created following this addition, including positions as mechanical engineering technicians, day labourers, and in the field of robotics.

This new fully automated production line will feature five hydraulic presses, thus enabling the business to substantially increase its production capacity.

To accomplish this, Verbom expanded its plant on Industriel Boulevard by 7500 square feet. The business was able to benefit from the support of Sherbrooke Innopole pertaining to the location component.

Financial support from CED

To support its growth initiative, Verbom was awarded a repayable contribution of $1.2M from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, under the Quebec Economic Development Program.

Specialized in sheet metal processing using thermoforming, Verbom currently employs 225 people in Sherbrooke and Valcourt.
