Tekna Plasma Systems Inc. Moves into the 3D-Printing Market

In the coming weeks, Tekna Plasma Systems Inc. will launch new metallic powders for 3D printing – also known as additive manufacturing –, a thriving industry.

In 2014, the company located in Sherbrooke’s Regional Industrial Park invested more than $1.4M in R&D and equipmentparticularly in this project.

TeknaAs a result, Tekna has developed a unique method that produces very high quality powders.

The marketing of this new range of powders will begin in February 2015.
