Printing soft leather? This is one of the unique services provided by the new technology acquired by Sherbrooke printer Précigrafik.

The SCODIX Digital Enhancement Press can produce multi-level embossed printed tools and create a leather feel on a print, for example.

Précigrafik is the first company to offer this technology in the commercial printing industry in Québec, according to Chairman Gilles Blais.

By appealing to the sense of touch, prints increase a message’s recall rate.

This project required investments of half a million dollars. Précigrafik employs more than 60 people in Sherbrooke and Granby.
